Clare and Jason: SF City Hall Wedding

A lot of people say they love San Francisco, but every so often you get a stronger confirmation that you live in an awesome city. Of all the places where a couple can fly to for a wedding, Clare and Jason chose to come to SF to get married at City Hall. And why not. The building is gorgeous, the restaurant scene is a foodie’s paradise, and the weather is…well, the weather is unpredictable, but if you’ve saved up enough karma points for your wedding day, then it can be down-right spectacular. I met up with Clare and Jason for the first time on a beautiful afternoon at City Hall where they had secured the last spot of the day to get married. The nice part about that is you pretty much get the entire place to yourself, save for a batch of Chinese tourists with a 2 to 1 camera to tourist ratio. I’m a littleĀ embarrassedĀ that they probably took more photos of the couple than I did. After the super quick ceremony, we walked around to enjoy the good weather and get photos of the couple in the city they love so much. I didn’t tell them this, but I steered them towards the Ferry Building as our last stop so we could get some dessert at Miette. Fair warning to future clients: That’s right. I’d do that for a good cupcake.
